I'm happy to announce the launch of Boilerexams 2.0. Same open access to study past Purdue exams that students have used since 2020 with improvements everything else. Over the past 27 weeks, a group of student developers has been hard at work rebuilding the site from scratch. A second team has recorded past exam videos for four new courses: MA 16100/16200, PHYS 17200 CHEM 115 Coming soon: ME ...
The ratio is 1 offshore pump to 20 boilers to 40 steam engines. You can figure this out by looking at the fluid production and consumption rates - one offshore pump creates 1200 water/second, one boiler consumes 60 water and produces 60 steam a second, and one steam engine consumes 30 water a second to produce electricity. Since steam engines can accept steam on either end and pass the excess ...
I have a 3x3x8 boiler with 9 blaze burners all fueled by lava (from a dripstone farm) and it only produces a mere 32K SU. What could I improve on? What are the requirements for each level?
Efficient Mekanism Boiler/Turbine? I've been watching videos on how to set these up and I have the basic grasp of it, however it seems like I'm not making much power for the effort it takes. What is the best way to generate a lot of steam with a Thermoelectric Boiler? It doesn't seem to produce enough to make the turbines spin much.
Each boiler makes up to 60 steam per second, while each steam engine consumes up to 30 steam per second. You'll never be able to produce more than 60 steam per second worth of power with a single boiler, so any more than 2 steam engines is useless, in terms of average power.
My boiler was 19 years old and replaced by British Gas - quotes from other local engineers were 500£ more expensive here in the Highlands - and my gas bill went down massively.
To build upon what others say, if the pipe you run only has 1 pump between the input and output, the every rpm is a millibucket per tick, otherwise it’s 4 rpm for every millibucket per tick. Keep in mind every level of steam boiler ( and by correlation, steam engine.) needs 10 millibuckets per tick.
Descaling solution for double boiler Hello good old espresso community! I have an expobar brewtus 4 machine with double boiler since august 2021 and I am very happy with it. But now i am feeling that i should descale it in near future. Can someone please recommend me a good descale solution/powder/etc. for this? Greetings
